Woodward West Scooter Camp – February 18-21, 2011
Paxton attended Scooter Camp weekend at Woodward West from February 18th through February 21st. His training coach was Alex Steadman. While they had limited access to the outdoor parks (DUE TO SNOW!!!), he had a great time riding in the hangar skate park, learning from the pros, and hanging out with some friends, including Kaleb Kier, who was in his cabin.
It was the opportunity of a lifetime and he hopes to return next year if Woodward continues to have scooter camps.

Paxton Finishes 4th Overall In Razor Exposed Tour Beginner Division, 14th Place Round 4 In Renton, WA
Congratulations to Paxton Swygard for finishing 4th overall in the Razor Exposed Tour's Beginner division in 2010!
On October 10th, Paxton competed in the Beginner division at the final round of the Razor Exposed Tour at Skate Barn in Renton, WA. Fortunately for our sport, but unfortunately for the competitors, there were over 60 entrants in the Beginner division. Because of the sheer number of riders, the event coordinators decided to run the riders in singular heats in groups of 6. This greatly impacted the riders' runs and ability to showcase their talents.
Fortunately, Paxton did make it through the first round of heats and into the final 14 where he was able to exhibit his talents in a 1-minute run. Unfortunately, the changing format and confusion threw a bit of a wrench in his works and he got hung up on trying to land one big trick during the finals. His resulting score put him in 14th in the finals, but out of 60+ riders, 14th is still pretty good.
While Paxton hoped for a better result at this event, competing landed him enough points to finish 4th overall in the Razor Exposed Tour Beginner division!
Special thanks to NW Scoot and Lucky Scooter Parts for supporting and sponsoring Paxton and the Lil' Lucky's!
